The World-largest Coal Dumper Shed Undertaken by CCCC-FHEC Is Completed Successfully
Recently, Phase IV works for the world largest coal dumper shed in Huanghua Port has been successfully completed by CCCC First Harbour Engineering Company Ltd.
The diameter of the shed underground continuous diaphragm wall is 96m long, and main works include corridors, yards, roads, rail beam, train beam, wheel clamp, track scale and a variety of platforms & foundations for various equipment & plant, as well as living buildings & power lighting, drainage, communications, control, fire protection, environmental protection and other auxiliary facilities. The works started in March 2013 and the contract duration is 14 months.
Phase IV works is a landmark project for Huanghua Port entering the list of 200,000,000 ton port in terms of annual output capacity. After the project is completed, 50 million tons of coal export capacity will be added annually to Huanghua Port, and it will play an important role in regional economic development in Hebei Province.
