企业核心竞争力的内涵浅析

经济全球化以及中国市场经济的继续开放,带来的结果就是同行业中企业面临的竞争加剧,打造属于企业自身的核心竞争力就成为众多企业从理论研究到生产实践的主要工作与命题。对于正处在经济转型期的中国社会来说,无论是产业发展还是经济结构的调整、国内外形势的变化等,都对企业的生存应对能力提出了挑战。确立一个发展核心,提升整体的竞争力,是当前企业发展的应然选择。

那么什么是企业的核心竞争力,我们认为,它不是指某一个方面或者某一个角度的能力,而是一种由多要素构成的体系。企业要构建自身的核心竞争力,从本质上来说,就是要完善这个体系的建设,并且将体系中每一个个体要素的价值发挥到最大。体系存在的价值就在于,当体系中的每一个要素的价值发挥到最大时,体系的整体价值将会远远超过这些要素价值的简单叠加,也就是出现一种1+1>2的效果。如何判断一个企业是否具备竞争力,我们需要观察一个企业是否具备以下特征:

价值特征。价值特征指的并不是直观的货币或者财富,指的是一种能够转化成财富的能力,一般来说,有三个方面:首先就是能够满足消费者的价值需求。这是企业存在的根基,有需求才能转化成市场,所以,企业的核心竞争力必然包括满足消费者的需求,也就是能够引起消费者重视的价值能力。其次,创造力。创造力也就是现代企业生存需要的创新能力,创新能够帮助企业减低各项成本,以此来使企业增值。最后,危机应对能力。每一个企业面对的市场风险在概率上往往是相差无几的,这就意味着,谁的危机应对能力强,谁就能够更好地参与市场竞争。

核心基础性。核心竞争力,应该具备核心与基础的双重特性,也就是它既要成为当前企业各项运营工作开展的基础,同时也需要具备在任何的机遇面前能够为企业发展带来生机的潜在动力。根据我们的调查,一个企业如果在众多的竞争力项目中只重视其中的一项或者两项,亦难以在激烈的竞争中获得优势,核心因素的提取往往决定着一个企业是否能够完成核心竞争力的战略导向建设。

稀缺性。企业要通过打造核心竞争力来体现自己的优势,那么就必须要保证这种可以参与市场竞争的因素具备稀缺性。稀缺性意味着一种独一无二的市场优势,在行业饱和的状态下,是否具备其他企业不具备的素质或者能力,对企业能否异军突起起着关键性的作用。核心竞争力,很显然就是一个企业最有力的武器,每一个企业核心竞争力的水平决定了企业的整体发展水平。核心优势上的差异,会直接反映到企业的经营效益中,越是独一无二,就越能够避免被同类企业所模仿。

隐蔽性。作为一种促进企业发展的价值能力,核心竞争力是一种极为抽象的表述,什么是核心,怎样确定核心,在不同的企业中有着不同的理解。由于企业的定位不同,技术、管理经验、技能、渠道等都有可能成为核心,甚至是企业文化等这种难以具体量化的细节,也是竞争力的组成因素。所以,核心竞争力在企业中往往是隐蔽的,它不以某种具体的客观现象表现出来,通过直观的量化观察往往也难以察觉。

企业核心竞争力的内容结构

一个企业的成功,是没有标准模式可以复制的。单纯依靠模式复制来获得发展的企业,在最初阶段可能会取得迅速的成果,一旦企业停留在模式复制的阶段,没有形成自己的核心竞争力,那么这个企业最终必然会面临被淘汰的结局。对于一个企业而言,不管它是否具备完善的公司架构,只要它在某些项目或者领域中拥有出类拔萃的优势,那么就有成为行业翘楚的可能。虽然核心竞争力具有隐蔽性,但是这种抽象的能力具体到实践中,我们可以用一些具体的内容和指标表达出来,较为常见的核心因素或者说能力指标,有以下几个方面:

具备创新的技术。企业是否具备创新技术往往对其发展有着决定性作用。技术创新,它要求实现的是产品的功能性、独特性以及超越行业平均水平的尖端性。这种优势的技术,会为企业带来超过普通企业的客户关注度以及市场广泛度。

具备创新能力的人才。即便是在信息时代,各种智能化设备的出现大大降低了对人力资源的要求,但是具备创新能力的人才依旧是这个时代不可多得的财富。因为创新技术,最终也必须是有创造才能的人才来完成开发设计。所以,在一个企业中,创新人才始终是一个企业能否引领行业潮流最重要的因素,它是企业构建核心竞争力的必要条件。

优秀的企业文化。企业文化,同样属于抽象意识的范畴,与一些生产要素相比,企业文化的价值往往是很难被评判的,尽管如此,在现代化的企业制度中,企业文化的地位却是被普遍认可和尊重的。这是因为,一个企业的文化内涵,影响着企业的管理工作、人才队伍建设的水平等较为具体的方面。当前,一个企业是否具备优秀的文化,已经不再是企业内部员工重视的问题,越来越多的消费者在选择产品时,会考虑到一个企业的文化。这是因为,一个有着优秀文化内涵的企业,它会在社会责任承担、质量安全等方面获得消费者的信任,这是企业建设重要的软实力。

品牌影响力。品牌是市场竞争加剧的产物,越来越多的企业重视品牌战略的打造。在商品高度趋同的今天,消费者已经很难从使用价值的层面来判断究竟哪一种产品是满足自己需要的,使用价值已经成为一种较低层次的需求。品牌是一个企业的产品区别于其他企业产品的重要标志,它也是表示企业文化、价值、特色的符号。在现代社会,品牌影响力意味着财富的积聚程度,拥有广泛影响力、口碑良好的品牌对企业的发展有着至关重要的作用。品牌的建立是一条漫长积累的道路,但是毁灭品牌却是朝夕之间的事,所以,品牌影响力的打造,需要企业长期的坚持。

以核心竞争力为主的战略导向性建设

由于行业差异和企业自身定位的选择不同,一个企业对自身竞争核心的确定也会不同。但是,无论是哪一种类型的企业,要打造核心竞争力,以下几个方面都是其应当采取的基本途径。

确定以核心竞争力为基础的战略规划。核心竞争力的构建是一个漫长持续的过程,它不是指某一项技术上的优势,它需要支撑企业在其持续发展过程中有占据竞争优势的能力,所以,在进步中不断完善,是企业打造核心竞争力必经的历程。这项目标的实现,必须建立在战略规划的基础上。战略规划是长期的,它对企业每一个发展阶段的目标和任务都有着规划,每一个阶段任务的分布都应该与核心竞争力挂钩,并且在实践过程中,根据现实环境和条件的变化,对战略规划进行适当的调整,对核心技术要有转换的准备和能力,只有这样,企业才真正地具备核心竞争力,才能占据市场优势。

准确的定位企业的突破口。当企业发展陷入困境时,找准突破口,能够帮助企业快速打开僵局。对于企业来说,突破口的选择并不是一件简单的事情,企业需要寻找到一个有成长空间的领域作为自己的突破口。成长空间,意味着可以以此为基础延伸企业的核心竞争力。每一个企业,都有着自身的劣势和优势,如何有效的利用自己的优势,将这种优势转化成一种特点,将原本求生存的突破口巩固成一种领域优势,这是大部分企业构建核心竞争力必经的程序。

打造核心技术与培养创新能力。核心技术,始终是核心竞争力培养的重中之重,品牌战略、营销方案、融资能力等都与核心技术密切联系。在开放的市场环境下,要取得一项核心技术并不容易,基本上都需要通过内部研发完成。所以,核心技术与创新能力是两个不能分割的方面,一个企业有创新能力和创新条件,那么才有核心技术出现的可能。当然,这并不是说企业要闭门造车,在一些行业,国家有相关的技术政策性支持,有各种技术论坛和展览会等平台,企业可以根据自身的现实需要,结合这些外部条件,攻克技术难关。为了保持这种创新的能力,企业应该将自身打造成一个学习型组织。在一个学习型的企业里,会形成一种优秀的文化氛围,无论是管理者还是员工,都会在学习中发现问题,而不是机械地应对市场环境发生的变化。

加强企业的资本运行能力。资本市场是市场经济发展的另一个阶段,在资本市场的环境下,企业自身是否具备足够的资产,以及是否具备向外界融资的能力,也是我们判断一个企业是否具备竞争力的重要条件。资本,始终是维系企业运营发展最重要的纽带,许多企业的破产都是因为资金链的断裂,没有资本,企业就如同丧失了继续发展的力量源泉。一个资产雄厚的企业能够在市场竞争中获得更多的优势,融资能力能够帮助企业走出低谷或者危机。所以,在激烈的市场环境中,企业必须提升自身的资本运行能力,既要加强内部资金的管理水平,同时也要使企业自身符合投资市场的要求,以此来获得更多的融资机会,帮助企业规模化发展。
