CCCC-FHEC 2025 Science and Technology Innovation Conference launched
China Communications Construction Company - First Harbor Engineering Company (CCCC-FHEC) launched its 2025 Science and Technology Innovation Conference in Tianjin on Nov.12, 2025. Lian Maojun, Party chief of Tianjin's Binhai New Area, Song Hailiang, director of China Communications Construction Company, Zheng Qingxiu, deputy head of Water Transport Bureau of China’s Ministry of Transport, Zhou Fengjun, an academician at the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Chen Zuyu, an academician at the Chinese Academy of Sciences attended the conference.


Lian Maojun addressed the conference. He said, "Over the past eight decades since its establishment, CCCC-FHEC has developed a number of nationwide and even worldwide pioneering heavy-duty equipment, making them a shining brand of Tianjin, completed mega-engineering marine works, and built key projects in Tianjin, adding significant contributions to Tianjin’s high-quality development. Binhai New Area is seizing the opportunities brought by a series of national policies, promoting the integrated development of ports, industries and cities, in order to boost both domestic and international economic flows. Tianjin will share development opportunities with China Communications Construction Company, join hands to build modern industrial systems, and foster highlands for innovation, with an aim to make Tianjin a more modern metropolis, enhance high-level opening up and cooperation, and write a new chapter of city-enterprise cooperation."

Song Hailiang, Director of China Communications Construction Company, extended his congratulations on the 80th anniversary of CCCC-FHEC, and conveyed his sincere thanks to whoever had shown concern and support for its reform and development. He noted that as a time-honored and backbone subsidiary of China Communications Construction Company, CCCC-FHEC had always carried forward the pioneering spirit as the cradle of harbor builders and had written a history of dedication to port building, a history of technology & innovation-driven development, and a history of advancement of enduring cultural spirits, forging strong capacities for contract performance and value pursuit of excellence, as well as providing spiritual impetus for driving CCCC’s high-quality and sustainable development.

Zheng Qingxiu expressed his congratulations and expected that CCCC-FHEC would further advance infrastructure construction, implement more national strategies in transportation, and play a greater role in tackling key core technological challenges as well as in developing and manufacturing major equipment; Besides, CCCC-FHEC would further promote green and digital transformation, aim at industrial forefronts and technological high grounds, and achieve greater breakthroughs in cutting-edge fields, therefore contributing more to the high-quality development of national transportation; Moreover, CCCC-FHEC would further enhance cross-industry collaboration, implement major national strategies, create a collaborative innovation ecosystem comprising industry, academia, research and application, and witness more Chinese technologies and standards go global.

Wan Junjie, chairman of CCCC-FHEC, extended his warm welcome to the leaders, experts, scholars, and everyone attending the conference. He also expressed his sincere gratitude to partners and friends from all walks of life who had long cared for and supported the development of the company. He noted that over the past eight decades, CCCC-FHEC had always been devoted to engineering works led by constant innovation against any difficulties, had integrated its development into the overall national development and built a top-notch team of experts and skilled craftsmen. He stressed that taking its 80th anniversary as a new starting point, CCCC-FHEC would fully implement development strategies outlined by China Communications Construction Company by fostering new quality productive forces, promote science and technology innovation with intense efforts, and work out more applicable innovation measures. CCCC-FHEC would systematically create new engines for innovation-driven development and inject technological impetus into the pursuit of high-quality development.
