A Study Result of the National Science and Technology Support Program Undertaken by FHEC Successfully Passed Experts Appraisal
On July 15th, the study results of Deep Water Gravel High-precision Leveling Equipment Development and Relevant Construction Technology Research undertaken by FHEC - a sub-project of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Cross-sea Bridge Construction Cluster Key Technology Research and Demonstration enlisted in the National Science and Technology Support Program successfully passed assessment during the appraisal meeting. Representatives and experts from Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Authority, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge tunnel & Island Projects General Managers’ Department, CCCC Highway Planning and Design Institute Co., Ltd., Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry (Group) Co., Ltd., and FHEC deputy general manager & chief engineer Li Yiyong and other staff responsible for technical quality attended the meeting.
The topic was officially listed in the National Science and Technology Support Program on July 1st, 2010. Since then, in aim to offshore deepwater soft complicated construction conditions, the research group has successfully developed studies on offshore deepwater gravel paving & leveling vessel leg lift system, leg locking system, construction management system, gravel feeding & filling systems, leveling precision measurement & control systems, and precision paving & leveling vessel development & construction technology research in combination of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge immersed tube tunnel project construction experience. During the past four years study, experts has fully completed the requirements in the study mission statement through a variety of ways like theoretical analysis, numerical simulation, leveling model test, software development and construction technical research. The studies on Deep Water Gravel High-precision Leveling Equipment Development and Relevant Construction Technology achieved fruitful results in terms of academic theory and engineering technology and provided effective support for the construction of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge project immersed tube tunnel construction.
