Two Industry Norms Working Plans Edited by FHEC Experts Passed Review By China Transport Ministry
On 22nd and 23rd May 2014, the working plan review meeting for the two standardized norms -Shipyard Hydraulic Structures Construction Norms and Breakwater & Revetment Construction Norms was held in Tianjin by the Water Transport Authority of China Transport Ministry chaired by Hu Ming, director of Science & Technology Department of Water Transport Authority of China Transport Ministry. Eight industry experts including Zhang Boqiang, deputy director of the Professional Committee of China Water Transport Engineering Construction Standards Association were invited as members of the expert review group. The two standardized norms writing team leader, FHEC vice president and Chief Engineer Li Yiyong and key members of the team participated in the preparation of the norms working plan made a report. Experts reviewed the working plan for the two norms, and gave specific review comments and deployed the next specification writing schedule.
Shipyard Hydraulic Structures Construction Norms and Breakwater & Revetment Construction Norms are the guiding technical standards for shipyard hydraulic structures and breakwater & revetment structures constructions in China mainly edited by experts from FHEC with the assistance from other units experts. Most advanced construction techniques and construction methods for shipyards hydraulic structures and breakwaters & revetment structures will be promptly summarized and reflected by the preparation and revision of the two norms, therefore, reliable engineering technical support will be provided for enhancing the relevant construction management and overall quality level in the field in future.
