Mao Yuanping, General Manager of FHEC Inspected and Guided Project in Qatar

On 7th April, Mao Yuanping, general manager of FHEC with his companies visited the East Express Corridor Project in Qatar, and made an inspection and guidance on the project works. He praised the site staff for their endeavors.

Mao Yuanping heard the special report of the project made by the project management, and learned more about the progress of the project. He expressed satisfaction with the company for entering the Qatari market with a good start, and praised the staff for their motivation and solidarity, clear managerial thinking and effective management measures, project positioning and targeted risk management and control.

At the meeting, Mao Yuanping cited China Road and Bridge Corporation successful project management experience in Kenya and said although CCCC-FHEC has made great progress in overseas business in recent years, we must clearly recognize that the gap between CCCC-FHEC and an international level contractor is still quite large, he instructed the project management staff should strengthen learning the international standards, and constantly learn advanced international management concept. Maoyuan Ping pointed out that the implementation of localized management is our only way to do an international project, and he said cost, risk, and human resources are the key aspects we should emphasize while exploreing international market, also we should accumulate energy and knowledge through improving comprehensive ability to expand the field of international construction space.

Finally, Mao Yuanping made four points to the CCCC-FHEC Qatari project management staff: First, we must focus on learning advanced project management, intensifying exploration of localized management, and explore how to manage more local employees and third-country workers with minimal management; second, we should continue to strengthen learning, improving professional skills and overall quality as well as international management practice; third, he emphasized that talent is the key factor of CCCC-FHEC “Mega Overseas Project Strategy” . And as a young team, attentions should be paid more to personnel training and team construction; fourth, we must adhere to the people-oriented principle, care staff of life, and create the atmosphere so that employees are willing to participate in overseas projects.
