Commencement of Supporting Works for New Terminal Area at Wenzhou Airport

Recently, the No.4 Engineering Company of CCCC First Harbor Eng. Co., Ltd. (CCCC-FHEC) officially started the execution of Contract Package No.1 of the supporting works for the new terminal area at Wenzhou Airport, Zhejiang.


The supporting works for the new terminal area at Wenzhou Airport is one of the key projects for the current extension of Wenzhou Airport in Zhejiang.


The supporting works for the air field and the terminal building for Terminal II will include the construction of the air side aprons of 380,000 m2 for both passenger airplanes and cargo airplanes, covering 27 parking aprons for passenger planes and 4 parking aprons for cargo airplanes, including two large parking aprons specially designated for Type E Jumbo Airplanes like Boeing 747 and Airbus 340, as well as auxiliary buildings housing the TAMCC,  an emergency medical center, staff canteen and dormitories. The total planned investment in the project will be CNY 945 million and the period of construction will be 24 months in total. The contract value for the works under Contract Package No.1 to be executed by the No.4 Engineering Company of CCCC-FHEC will be CNY 100 million with a period of construction of 12 months.


With the due completion of the works to be executed, the hardware capability of Wenzhou Airport will be effectively enhanced, laying a solid and sound base for the airport to become an important domestic main airport and a large international air link in China. ()
