The list of Scientific and Technological Awards of 2012 awarded by China Water Transportation Construction Association was announced on 29 Nov. 2012. Three scientific and technological achievements of CCCC-FHEC were awarded with the honor.

Of the three achievements, Research and Application of Key Techniques for Constructing Offshore Deep Water Ports completed with the joint efforts of the Head Quarters, Tianjin Port Engineering Institute, Ltd, No.2 Eng. Co., Ltd., and No.5 Eng. Co., Ltd of CCCC-FHEC won the Special Award; Specification for Foundations for Port Engineering (JTS147-1-2010) organized and completed by Tianjin Port Engineering Institute, Ltd. of CCCC-FHEC won the First-Class Award; Technical Specification for Remedying and Reinforcing Hydraulic Structures for Ports and Harbors (JTS311-2011) jointly completed by Tianjin Port Engineering Institute, Ltd. of CCCC-FHEC won the Second Class Award.

These awards indicate that CCCC-FHEC has made more progress and greater success in scientific and technological research fields.(Zhao Li)
