Wu Yongtao, Board Chairman of CCCC-FHEC, Inspected and Supervised Works on Phase III of Huanghua Port
Wu Yongtao, Board Chairman of CCCC-FHEC, went to inspect and supervise the works on Phase III of Huanghua Port on 5 Dec., 2012.
Full-load linkage of works on Phase III of Huanghua Port was conducted and completed on 1 Dec. 2012, eleven days earlier than scheduled, which was a great breakthrough for timely completion of one of the crucial sections of the project. Wu Yongtao visited the site and expressed his congratulations and greetings to the construction staff and workers and listened to the report of works progress by FHEC’s Huanghua Port Project Management, and then he went to inspect the construction sites for the car dumper building, silos and quays and supervised safety management and environment protection. He also went up to the 15m-high platform of a ship loader to see the operation of a ship loader.
Wu Yongtao pointed out that Phase III of Huanghua Port was the first-ever project generally contracted by CCCC-FHEC, with its construction duration reduced from 36 months to 19 months and further reduced by 15 days by the Client at the beginning of year 2012,thus presenting huge challenges to the project management to complete the project on schedule. However, through continuous hard work, the Project Management had managed to fulfill all the tasks on time and gained much precious experience for executing general contracted projects. (Zhao Li)
