Guangli Port in Dongying, East China's Shandong Province, built with the efforts of CCCC First Harbor Engineering Company, came into operation on September 28, 2017. As a cargo ship berthed steadily and firmly at Guangli Port, the gantry crane immediately moves to unload the copper concentrate to the carriage truck. The fully loaded truck left the port in a long-lasting applause, marking the opening of the port.

CCCC-FHEC undertakes the construction of 6 general berths with the capacity of 5000 dwt, and 1 berth for work ships with the capacity of 10000 dwt. Construction commenced in August, 2016. Despite unexpected obstacles in construction, 4 general berths built by CCCC-FHEC have been completed and satisfactorily accepted in September, 2017. Construction of the other berths is expected to be completed by the end of November, 2017.

Guangli Port when fully completed is to be used for transportation of bulk cargo, containers, liquid chemicals, and for tourism development. (Zhao Li)
